To place a request on an item:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on an underlined Holdings tag from the Full view of a record. A holding list of items stocked by the library is displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the Holdings list, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click <b>Request<\/b> (if shown) to place a hold request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Library will notify the reader when the item becomes available. Please note that more than one person may request the same item and the system will make the item available according to the order in which the request was registered.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<strong>Requested items are held for a period of seven (7) days<\/strong>, after which the item is reserved for the person next in line.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Requests for Items Readers requiring an item which is currently on loan, may place a request for the item by filling out an online request form from the Online Catalogue.
