UWI Software Engineering Students Praised for Creating Database

Software Engineering Program are receiving high praise for creating a new database to aid the Barbados Overseas Mission to collect information. Former Ambassador of Barbados to Beijing, H.E. Francois Jackman lauded the work of the students in creating the online registration system of travelling nationals and Barbadians living abroad.

The virtual engagement held on March 30 was part of Open Society’s Global Teach-In series. Championing a grassroots effort, the initiative designated the date for universities and organisations worldwide to lead events focused on ambitious but feasible, region-specific solutions to help Solve Climate by 2030.
